Address and Marital Status

If you move it is very important for you to notify CRA, and perhaps Service Canada,
as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions in your benefit payments and to ensure
you receive any requests, notifications and Assessments from CRA.

Marital Status changes must be reported to CRA.
If you separate, CRA requests that you wait at least 90 days. All other changes are to be reported by the end of the month following the change.
Changes throughout the year affect the following payments:

Canada Child Benefit
GST/HST Credit
Working Income Tax Benefit
Ontario Trillium Benefit

Also, if you separate you should make sure your Direct Deposit information is correct
or consider signing up.
